These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Trading Playbook mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Nature of the App

  • The App is designed as a trading journal, analytics and coaching tool to help you track and review your own trading activity.
  • The App does not provide personalised financial advice, trading signals, or recommendations to buy or sell any financial instruments.
  • The App is for educational and informational purposes only.

2. No Financial Advice

  • Nothing in the App should be taken as investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice.
  • You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and the risks associated with them.
  • Past performance metrics shown in the App, including win rate, expectancy, profit factor, performance score, and "prop readiness" scores, do not guarantee future results.

3. No Broker, Prop Firm, or Exchange Relationship

  • We are not a broker, prop firm, exchange, or financial institution.
  • The App is independent and not endorsed by or affiliated with any specific broker, prop firm, or trading platform.
  • Any references to challenge sizes (e.g. "simulate a 100k challenge") are generic and do not refer to any specific provider.

4. Use of the App

  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any login credentials (if applicable).
  • You agree not to reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or related services.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

  • The App may offer premium features via subscriptions or one-time purchases processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play.
  • All billing and subscription management (including cancellations and refunds) are handled by the respective store under their terms and policies.
  • Access to premium features will continue while your subscription is active and will end when it is cancelled or expires.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, content, and underlying code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use (unless we explicitly allow otherwise).
  • You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by applicable law.

7. Risk of Trading

Trading financial instruments (including forex, indices, commodities, and crypto) involves a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all of your capital. You should only trade with money you can afford to lose.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss of profits, trading losses, or other indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it and, where applicable, cancel any subscriptions.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

  • We may update or modify the App at any time, including adding, changing, or removing features.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
  • Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or for other legitimate reasons.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply.
