This Privacy Policy explains how Trading Playbook ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Trading Playbook mobile application (the "App").

- Journal data: trades you log in the App (e.g. instrument, direction, result, screenshots, notes, checklists). This data is primarily stored locally on your device.
1.2 Automatically collected information
- Usage analytics: anonymised or aggregated information about how you use the App (e.g. screens visited, button taps), collected via analytics tools.
- Crash and performance data: error reports and diagnostics to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
- Device information: such as device model, OS version, and anonymous identifiers provided by Apple or Google.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the App's features (journal, analytics, coaching tools).
- To improve the App through analytics, diagnostics, and feedback.

3. Third-Party Services

- Analytics & crash reporting (e.g. Firebase, Sentry or similar) to understand usage and fix issues.
- In-app purchases and subscriptions (e.g. Apple App Store, Google Play Billing, or services such as RevenueCat) to process payments and manage access to premium features.

These services process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- On-device data: Your trade journal and notes are primarily stored locally on your device. If you delete the App, this data may be permanently deleted unless you have your own backup.
- Cloud data (if used): If we provide optional backup or sync features in future versions, journal data may be stored on secure servers for as long as your account remains active or as required for legitimate business needs.
- Analytics & logs: Usage and error data may be stored for a reasonable period to help improve the App and ensure stability.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- You can control what you log in the App and may delete journal entries at any time from within the App.
- You may opt out of certain analytics where platform settings permit (for example, device-level analytics settings on iOS or Android).

7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International Users
The App may be used globally. By using the App, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the revised Policy.
